Supposedly it's like Diner Dash, seeing as it's made by the same company that brought us the well-known and highly enjoyed time management series. Unfortunately, it is...right to the point of being a fullblown DD clone, which is what no time-management game wishes to portray itself as. Most of the time, the gamer doesn't even play the main character, but the nameless caterer who hands the wedding guests their food and brings their presents to the bride and groom. Worse yet, the guests are extremely picky about where they sit and whom the sit next to, making the game more tedious (as opposed to simply challenging) than it has to be. The only time wedding planner Quinn comes into play is when she needs to console sobbing elderly women or break up fights between bridesmaids--both of which are based on stereotypes rather than real life. Plus, should the gamer's score for a given level not be to his or her liking, he or she can't go back and do it all over--something that the previous three DD games and so many other titles in this genre have wisely included. Throw in unremarkable graphics and run-of-the-mill sounds, and you've got a game that just doesn't live up to its hype, which there's far too much of.
